What You Should Know Before Calling That Nylon/Plastic Manufacturing and Branding Companies For Product Packaging.

Things to put into consideration are:
  • The nylon/plastic that is best suitable for the product.
  • The size of the Nylon/Plastic in Inches, CM or MM
  • The Numbers of colour
  • Mold creation: this is very important, because each colour on your artwork design must have its own mold or plate created for it, and there are two types of mould; CYLINDER or STEREO.
Please be informed that Cylinder mold creations do not come cheaply to create per colour. The prices varies, depending on the type of machine the mold is been created for. There are different  machine in several  plastic branding companies and also produces different plastic material too, e.g. a branding company might be into productions and printing of OPP or PP, LD, and another manufacturing company might just focus on production and printing of just PVC, PP, etc.

  • The size: do not call a manufacturing company and tell them you want to make a packaging plastic   for 1kg, 2kg or 5kg. Its best you know the size of what you want in length and width because kg is just the weight not the size. Take a ruler or tape to measure sample of the product you want your own product packaging bag to look like. Even some manufacturing companies do ask for specimen.
  • Film, Plastic or Nylon: Whatever name you prefer to call it; you should know the type of film and the thickness you want and also if you want it to be laminated. Every product have a suitable Film/Plastic for its packaging, as a producer you should be aware of  the nature  of your product, if it needs the preservative  type of plastic to last longer, etc.Take your product nature into considerations before choosing any plastic type.  Also know that budget is another area to take into consideration too, but you should know the different between the plastics and which one you can switch to when you have limited budget. After been fully aware of the first and second steps, you can now call the Industrial Printing and Branding company to make inquiring about their prices of mold creation, kg or pieces, and also their minimum order (MOQ).
